Kids in BMX are funny. We posted this up last week and the biggest complaint was it was trying to be too “artsy” with the lighting and it also got accused of biting a series of skate videos I’ve never even seen. The irony and fact of the matter is, I turned the main lights off so you wouldn’t see all the random shit we had laying around all over the place.
On a positive note, I’m really psyched on how the little silent film in the beginning turned out.
This trip marks the first “pro” trip I’ve ever officially been on. Jim Cielencki asked if I was down to film with the Sunday crew and I was more than happy to join. It was a nice change of pace from office life and everybody I met on the trip was super chill and great to hang out with.
We went from Las Vegas to SLC and back to Las Vegas again, making some random stops along the way. Half the crew got sick, hence the title, but it was all still good times nonetheless. Hopefully I’ll get to go on more of these down the road.
Tom Arkus helped film and he put together the edit while I added the motion graphics.
