Chasing Owls and The Long Way Home

Kara wanted to go on a little trip to check out a Northern Hawk Owl that flew further south than usual. I'm not much of a bird watcher, but I do enjoy long drives and trying out new hobbies.

On the way home, we took a detour to the desert and tried to take a selfie where it looks like I was floating away in the wind... it ended up looking like she was just swinging me around instead. In retrospect, that probably would've been an easier way to get into this position.
